Signals are normally placed at regulated standard positions. In exceptional circumstances, the signal is placed differently which may require additional documentation, eg. a 3D BIM model, and dispensation. This common EULYNX DP class can therefore be tailored to national needs. For instance: <ul> <li>Germany: two double-track arrangements would lead to confusing situations so the signals can be placed at the other side of the track. A checkered sign points out this fact to the driver.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>France: signals in Alsace - Lorraine region are placed on the other side as in other French regions.</li> </ul>
