Socialistische Partij. Partij die in 1971 ontstond uit de Kommunistiesche Partij Nederland/marxistisch-leninistisch (KPN/ml). Dit was een afsplitsing van de Kommunistische eenheidsbeweging Nederland/marxisitisch-leninistisch (KEN/ml). De KEN/ml was op haar beurt ontstaan als een afsplitsing van de Communistische Partij van Nederland (CPN). KPN/ml heeft in 1972 haar naam veranderd in Socialistiese Partij (SP, tegenwoordig geschreven als Socialistische Partij).
